If you're looking for the largest - and cheapest - collections of downloadable adult DVDs from all the popular porn studios, there are really only a few sites that stand out among the competition here in 2009.The first two I'm going to present are two very similar multi-studio sites that are so close in most areas that they are almost interchangeable, but differences in some parts of their movie collections (specific studios, DVD series, pornstars etc.) might make it worth checking out both rather than going straight for the largest (and in this case also cheapest) option. Further down I'm listing three really excellent one-studio sites that are part of the same pay-for-one-access-to-all site network. They are no match for the two former adult video sites in terms of volume, but on the other hand you don't have to sort through any bargain bin crap to get to the great titles. And as of 2009 you additionally get all new movie downloads in full 720p and 1080p HD. But back to the first two - VideoBox and VideosZ. Here's a comparison of their most important features:  1) 6,600+ DVDs/37,100+ scenes at VideoBox5,800+ DVDs/33,600+ scenes at VideosZ (July 2009 numbers for both sites) 2) Five new DVDs are added to both sites every day (VideosZ has a week or two now and then where they add six a day, which is why they've been able to gain ground on VideoBox the last year). 3) Powerful user interfaces on both sites that makes finding and bookmarking what you need easy. Both sites have similar main features, including integrated Flash video players with a screenshot based timeline at the bottom, but VideoBox is still the only one to have a unique option that allows you to "cut" your own scene (choosing start and end points) with a drag and drop screenshot interface. VideosZ on the other hand has a playlist option and arguably slightly better DVD/scene/pornstar bookmarking features. 4) I suspect I'm far from the only one who has really taken to those integrated Flash players you see just about everywhere on the web these days, including on these two adult video sites. But for those times where you do want to download scenes rather than stream them straight away, there are several different video options on both sites, although VideoBox is ahead here, both in terms of the number of options as well as the video quality on the highest of them. VideosZ price options: 1 month recurring: $29.95 3 months recurring: $59.95 6 months non-recurring: $99.95 2 day trial: $3.95  ZTOD, Third Movies and Black Ice Pass are the official DVD download sites of the three studios Zero Tolerance, 3rd Degree Films and Black Ice (due to not only the shared site network but also similarities in DVD cover designs, filming style, pornstar choices etc. - between the first two in particular - I suspect these three are actually just different labels from one and the same main studio, which is certainly not a bad thing in this case).I admittedly don't visit Black Ice Pass all that often, but that's mainly due to personal preferences in models and content than because the site is necessarily inferior to the other two (aside from being the smallest of the three). As they did a few pretty substantial content updates around the same time, that means that almost a third of the movies on all three sites are available in HD. Several lower quality options and formats (including iPhone/iPod) are also available. Older non-HD movies still look great at 720x540/480 (DVD resolution), ~3000 kbit. 5) No matter whether you join ZTOD, Third Movies or Black Ice Pass, full access to the other two sites is included with the membership.
